We operate the e-shop at www.equidext.cz.

To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”).

Processing of personal data when using the contact form

If you inquire about our products and services, we will process your contact details that you provide to us, mainly via the inquiry form. This includes: name, surname, e-mail address, and phone number.

Why?
We use this information to contact you for further arrangements regarding goods and services.

On what legal basis?
Processing is carried out under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – negotiations on a contract, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request.

How long will we process the personal data?
Unless further cooperation is established, we will process your data no longer than 30 days from our last communication.

Processing of personal data in case of purchase

If you make a purchase, we will process the data you provide, mainly billing details: name, surname, address, phone number, and e-mail address.

Why?
We need to process your personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver goods or services to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you about the status of your order, possible complaints, or inquiries.

We further process personal data to comply with our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints).

On what legal basis?
Processing is carried out under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

How long will we process the personal data?
For the duration of the service provision and subsequently for 10 years from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

If you are our customer and did not opt out at the time of purchase, we will use your e-mail address to send our news updates.

On what legal basis?
This is permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, unless you objected at the time of purchase.

How long will we process the personal data?
For 10 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in the e-mail or by contacting us at info@equidext.cz.

II. Who Has Access to Your Data?

Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or individuals working with us to operate our e-shop may have access to the data, as they help us with its functioning. These are:

• Operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, 169 00, Prague 6, Company ID: 28935675, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25395)

• Shipping companies: Česká pošta, PPL, Zásilkovna, GLS, DPD

• Payment service providers: Mastercard

• E-mailing service provider: Google Cloud EMEA Limited

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.
