FREEJUMP AIRBAG is a protective vest designed specifically for equestrian sports, which protects vital parts of the body in the event of a fall. It can be worn over light clothing (a T-shirt, sweatshirt or thin sweater) or over a riding jacket.

France is the first country to introduce an official standard for the production of riding airbags as personal protective equipment (PPE). The NF S72-800-2022 standard ensures a higher level of protection thanks to strict requirements for the size of the protected area, inflation speed and impact resistance.

FREEJUMP AIRBAG is the first riding vest certified to this standard. For size S, it reaches full inflation in just 98 milliseconds , exceeding the requirements of the standard. It also excels in its ability to withstand both lateral and longitudinal impacts - including spinal protection.

Optimized protection zone

The vest protects the neck, back, lumbar area, sacrum, pelvis and chest. It is designed to complement a certified riding helmet and includes a stabilizing collar to protect the spine.

The protection is tailored to individual sizes – it covers 24% of the chest circumference and 100% of the length from waist to shoulders for the chest area, and 20% of the chest circumference and 120% of this length for the back area.

Side protection helps maintain correct torso alignment. Two height options are available for sizes XS to L – standard and extended ("T").

Comfort and performance

The vest is made of fine Italian materials with perforated sides for better ventilation. Thanks to the close-fitting cut and stretch fabrics, it offers maximum comfort while maintaining a high level of protection.

The safety cord is equipped with a textile eyelet that minimizes noise when in contact with the carabiner of the rescue cord.

Compatibility with clothing

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG can be worn both over and under a compatible riding jacket . The NF S72-800-2022 standard requires an official compatibility test (CRITT) for each jacket model. The FREEJUMP AIRBAG has passed these tests.

FREEJUMP guarantees compatibility with any jacket certified according to NF S72-800-2022, including models from other brands (e.g. PÉNÉLOPE).

The airbag is functional when worn under any compatible jacket – as long as the rip cord exits through the bottom of the jacket (and not through a special hole).

The FREEJUMP clothing collection, such as the MONA and MAX jackets, KLOE and KARL vests , MADDY and MATT jackets , and the MALLORY sweatshirt , was designed to allow the airbag to be worn underneath and ensure its proper functionality even after inflating.

FREEJUMP AIRBAG is also compatible with products from many other brands: PIKEUR, VESTRUM, PÉNÉLOPE, KERRITS, JUMP'IN, STRUCK, SCHOCKEMOHLE, EAST, TOMMY HILFIGER, VISION APPAREL, GEM, CAVALLO and others.

Sizes and individual customization

The vest is available in children's sizes S and L and in adult sizes from XXS to XXL . For sizes XS to L , regular and long variants (marked as "T") are also available for taller figures - e.g. XST .

Children's sizes are suitable for children with a height of at least 130 cm and a weight of at least 25 kg . Adult sizes start at a height of 145 cm and a weight of 35 kg .
